A Golf party is a more unique sports party but fun for everyone whether it is mini-golf or the real deal.
The free printable Golf Coloring Pages are a fun way to keep the kids
occupied at the dinner table or a party. Golf Outing Party Planning is virtually entirely dependant on good planning and picking the right location. If you and your guests aren't all members of the same golf club there is a good chance you will either have to ring around or use a municipal course but either way, make sure there's a good club house for refreshments afterwards; consider hiring clubs and equipment so that you all have what you need for a good round of golf. Match the coloring
page to your parties theme. Keep the drawings and laminate them. Then
surprise the kids
by using them for placemats at next years Golf celebration. |

COOKIES

For your golf enthusiast friends, some homemade golf theme cookies will excite and delight them. Try a simple spice cookie dough recipe, and if you have cookie cutters that are shaped like golf clubs, this would be ideal.
For the dough of your homemade golf cookies you will need one stick of butter, ½ cup of brown sugar, two large egg yolks, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, ½ teaspoon of ground ginger, ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg, and 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour. First beat the butter, sugar, egg yolks and spikes with an electric mixer until the mixture is fluffy. Then stir in the flour until it is all well blended. Divide the dough in half, roll each half into a ball, and wrap the halves separately in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer, until the dough is firm.
Your homemade golf cookies are almost done. Just roll out the dough to about 1/8 of an inch thick, use your cookie cutters to shape them into golf clubs, or shape them with your hands instead. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees, and lightly flour a cookie sheet. Bake your golf club cookies for about 20 minutes or until the edges begin to turn golden brown. Then cool the cookies for about ten minutes before attempting to remove them from the baking pan. You can add frosting or melted chocolate to create the illusion of a handle, if you like. Use a tall can or jar, wrapped in brown paper to present your golf clubs to your guests. Who can resist a golf inspired spice cookie?!
