Game 1
Green Lantern party games should let the kids show off their “super powers”. One game that is fun and quick to set up is “Green Speed”. The most labor intensive part of this game is the clean-up that follows but actually that won’t be too bad. You will need two adults to be timekeepers and judges if needed. Get inexpensive boxes of green facial tissues. Set up two or three small tables with two boxes of tissues on each table. You can let the kids play as individuals or divide them into teams. Open the boxes of tissues and have a child stand behind each table. When everyone is in place and ready have someone yell “go”. The object of the game is to show who has “super speed” by pulling the tissues out of the boxes one at a time as fast as they can, using one hand for each box. There will be kids cheering and tissues flying. Have a stop watch and keep track of the winner of each round. Give a prize to the “fastest super hero.” |
