PARTY CRAFT IDEAS |
 |
A Hawaiian paradise party can be loads of fun for everyone. Two ideas for crafts at a Hawaiian paradise party would be on a paradise beach seashell wreath and a seashell nightlight.
To make the Hawaiian wreath you will need a grapevine wreath, hot glue gun with sticks, shells and coral, some greenery resembling sea weed for filler, and some floral. First, arrange the big shells, then put smaller shells and coral in any gaps. Use the glue gun when possible. You can always use wire when you can't use glue. If need to, you may use seaweed as a filler. Try different arrangements before gluing, for the best possible effects. Other Hawaiian materials you might use would be sand dollars or starfish. To add sound, add wind chimes or even a string of bells.
To make a shell night light, you will need an inexpensive night light, a large shell, and a hot glue gun. First, simply remove the plastic guard off the night light. Second, pick out the seashell you will be using. Some good examples of seashells that would work well are Mantel Scallops, Sand Dollars, or Sea Biscuits. All you need to do, is to use a glue that is not heat sensitive, and glue the shell to the nightlight by applying glue to the base of the shell then sticking the two together. The light gives a room a nice Hawaiian look and feel anyone would love.
So, the next time you plan a Hawaiian party, and want to include crafting in the mix, have these inexpensive supplies handy, and happy crafting! |
