These items are always a great addition to a celebration and most often the addition of enjoyable fares that are designed especially for this gathering will make everyone feel very special. Individuals looking for gifts for the celebrant may consider baking homemade Hello Kitty cookies as well. Use a Hello Kitty cookie cutter to cut the shape of the cookies in order to save time avoiding having to cut the cookies individually. Once the cookies are cut, baked, and cooled the decorating can begin. Royal icing is commonly used with cookies. Use a pastry bag with a small numbered tip to outline Hello Kitty in black royal icing or another desired color. If needed, draw Hello Kitty on the cookies with a food marker and go over the food marker with icing. Flood Hello Kitty by pouring the white royal icing mixtures on the cookie to make Hello Kitty’s face. Flood the small bow at the top of Hello Kitty’s head with pink, red etc. royal icing. Let dry, then apply the eyes, nose, and whiskers to complete Hello Kitty’s face.
