Hollywood's Fettuccine with Lamb and Pistachios. Although this may sound a bit different its so yummy I love it, I had it during a Fashion show after party and it has become my favorite dish to make its also so simple it really impressed me when I had it at the show, now I impress my guest's always.
Ingredients:

3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup olive oil
1 lb lamb shoulder or other lean cut, cubbed and sliced into thin strips
1.5 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/3 cup sweet butter, melted
1 lb fettuccine, cooked al dente
1/2 cup shelled natural pistashio nuts, coarsely chopped
Instructions:

Saute garlic and onions in heated olive oil in large, deep skillet just
until soft, about 2 min. Add lamb and cook over medium-high heat just
until cooked through, about 5 min. Add rosemary, nutmeg, salt, and
pepper and cook 2minutes, stirring.
Reduce heat and pour in butter. Add drained fettuccine and toss well.
Before serving, top each portion with chopped pistashios. Makes four
servings.
This dish is meant to fill you up and it sure does, I really enjoy it with a glass of wine during dinner. Me and my husband usually make it during special occasion's but once in a while we do it for ourselves its great.

Hollywood MENU IDEAS |
|
A Hollywood party can be a classy, star-studded event and the party menu should be just as classy. However, making it easy would also be a good thing!
Appetizers make up the bulk of those classy affairs menus and are an easy way to get your guests to fill up before sitting down to eat. Try picking up some Crispy Cheese Raviolis, Mini Taquitos and Mini Vegetarian Egg Rolls for the buffet table. If you want something a little more adventurous, try the Calamari Fritters, which are batter fried Calamari rings. As many Hollywood actresses are watching their weight, you should also get a fantastic salad put together for the guests. The Shredded Spinach Salad can be an unusual delight. Top off the menu with a Smoked Chicken Crostini, this is a fancy way of saying smoked chicken salad on crostini bread. The bread can even be star-shaped for extra flair.
Shredded Spinach Salad
You’ll need the following for the Hollywood Oscar Party Shredded Spinach Salad: fresh baby spinach, pecans, sugar, butter, gorgonzola cheese, one sliced pear, 1 /2 cup white wine, 1 garlic clove, minced, 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard, 1/4 cup unseasoned rice wine vinegar, 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, and 1/2 cup olive oil.
Place the pecans in a sauce pan with a small amount of sugar and butter. Heat until simmering and allow the pecans to caramelize.
While that’s cooking, peel and slice the pear. Place in another pan with the 1/2 cup white wine. Cook while turning the pear pieces to ensure even cooking. Remove from heat when Pears are soft and most of the wine has evaporated. Place in a food processor. Add 1 garlic clove, minced, 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard, 1/4 cup unseasoned rice wine vinegar, 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, and 1/2 cup olive oil. Process the mixture until smooth.
Toss the caramelized pecans, spinach, crumbled gorgonzola and vinaigrette for a tasty salad.
