Homemade Holy Communion Party Game

Once the Holy Communion is over and the after party begins include various homemade party games to entertain children and adults. Homemade party games may or may not reflect the party theme – in this case Holy Communion. It is up to the party hosts whether or not to implement the theme in the party games.

Pin the Crown on Jesus is a spin on Pin the Tail on the Donkey but with a Holy Communion twist. Use Jesus poster and cut out a crown from construction paper and decorate it with yellow and red glitter. The child who can successfully place the crown on Jesus is the winner.

Pass the Parcel is a fun homemade Holy Communion game in which, unlike Hot Potato, children want to be holding when the music stops.

Children may opt for a change of clothes when the Holy Communion ceremony is over because this game might get messy. Egg Race is a simple game in which players must race to one end of the party area carrying an egg on a spoon as fast as possible without dropping it. Set up teams or race party guests one-on-one in an elimination style tournament.

While the children play their Holy Communion party games the adults can have some fun on their own as well with homemade Holy Communion bingo cards. Print out homemade bingo cards with religious images such as crosses, doves, lambs, Jesus fish etc.
