Nobody does toy cars better than Hot Wheels. The popular miniature cars are beloved by little boys everywhere. Even parents have memories of playing with their Hot Wheels cars.
When you're at a Hot Wheels party, you might talk about your child's enthusiasm for Hot Wheels. You can also talk about your own memories of playing with toy cars, or memories of your brothers, cousins, or little boy friends playing with toy cars. You could also talk about car racing, different models of cars that you like, and if the group really likes cars, this discussion can get in-depth.
Any other topics you talk about will depend on the group of people you'll be talking to. If you run into someone unfamiliar, it's typical to ask basic questions like “What do you do for a living,” how old is/are your son/daughter/children,” “How long have you lived in the neighborhood,” and so on. These questions usually lead to other conversations.
Also, it's always a good idea to brush up on current events, sports news, celebrity gossip, and other relevant topics if you plan to be at a social event of any kind. These topics tend to always get people talking. If you have any interesting anecdotes from recent conversations you've had, such as on the phone or in IM chat, you might want to share those too.
