Superhero COOKIES

A Superhero can be nothing but super and this means plenty of homemade party supplies, cakes, cookies, and super party guests Have children dress up as their favorite superhero. Let everyone know that this is the party to attend with homemade superhero party invitations.

Homemade Superhero cookies can be made using royal icing on sugar cookies. Represent many of the popular superheroes such as Batman, Superman, Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Wolverine etc. Use royal icing and create the superhero symbols on the cookies. Draw the symbols on each of the cookies using a food marker to follow as a guideline. Use royal icing and fill in the cookies with the necessary colors. Edible glitter is also an option for the cookies. For large amount of cookies consider using fondant. Roll out the fondant and cut out the desired shapes for the superhero cookies. Paint a small amount of corn syrup on the cookies before adding the fondant. Cookies will become softer with fondant so for extra crisp cookies use edible glitter instead. Once the cookies are decorated, let them sit overnight in an airtight container to keep fresh. Lay the superhero cookies on a superhero decorated party table with colorful decorations such as streamers, balloons, comic books, photos, standees etc. Place the cookies on a multi-tiered serving tray covered with tissue paper (uncovered is acceptable too). Place cookies in individually wrapped plastic bags as pass out to the children as well. Another option is to allow them to select their favorite superhero as well.
