It's hard not to admire super heroes, when they're always dashing, strong, have extraordinary abilities, and love to save the day just in the nick of time! And with the emergence of so many superhero movies, action figures and T.V shows, now is a great time for kids to a superhero fan.
Everyone has memories of super heroes, whether watching Superman as a child and flying around the house in a cape, or playing with Batman, Spiderman and other action figures with your friends. Share your favorite super hero memories, and you can also talk about how your favorite Superheroes have changed over the years.
You can also talk about your kids' favorite super heroes (and about the time you had wait three hours in line just to get that action figure for Christmas!). While you're at it, you can ask the party guests about their kids. Parents love to talk about their little ones. Ask them their ages, where they go to school, their little league team, etc. It's even better if your kids have things in common with theirs, such as school and after school activities. You can also share favorite funny stories and memories about your little ones.
It's also natural to kibitz about sports, weather, latest news headlines and Hollywood news. Brush up on these before you go to the party so that you'll be abreast of all that's been happening in the world. You can also memorize some fun party facts just to throw out there.
