The Kansas City Chiefs began their NFL history as the Dallas Texans in 1960 dressed in their red and yellow dιcor. Then in 1963, the team relocated to Kansas City, Missouri and became the Kansas City Chiefs. The team has had numerous playoff appearances and division championships, but has won only one Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl IV in 1969 by defeating the Minnesota Vikings.

The Kansas City Chiefs currently play in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, but when they were known as the Dallas Texans, they played in Dallas, Texas in the Cotton Bowl. Then, when they first moved to Kansas City, Missouri, they played in the Municipal Stadium from 1963-1971. The current stadium, Arrowhead Stadium is listed as the fourth largest stadium in the NFL (National Football League). It can hold a capacity crowd of 77,000 and has been called one of the loudest and toughest stadiums for opposing players to play in because of the fans.
