A Kids party is likely to be among the liveliest, most colorful festivities a host can plan; so the host had best be ready to entertain the kids with a plethora of bouncy, age-appropriate party songs. Kids love music, dancing and singing along at these festivities.

The ultimate Kids party play list could include:

I Love You, You Love Me (The Barney Theme)
Who Says by Selena Gomez
Baby by Justin Bieber
Monkey Dance by The Wiggles
It’s a Small World by Walt Disney (just make sure not to play this too many times, it echoes in the brain!)
Baby Beluga by Raffi
Big Red Car by The Wiggles
Itsy Bitsy Spider by Carly Simon
Hot Potato by The Wiggles
Christopher Robin by Kenny Loggins
In addition to the best party songs, even the youngest party guests will appreciate colorful party supplies that will bring their fest to life. They are sure to like splashy and ebullient hues in abundance. Party colors should be vibrant and bright, and should include bright red, gold, yellow, purple, and aqua blue. The vast majority of children will name these their favorite colors. These hues should shine forth from balloons, banners, ribbons, and scene setters at the kids party; the party area also could be adorned with various stuffed animals, and perhaps even cardboard favorites of Barney the dinosaur and other popular characters. Use characters that they are sure to recognize. Party favors could include multi-colored party hats, kazoos and other noisemakers; of course, guests at a kids party will probably need no help in the ‘noisemaking’ department! A box can serve a dual purpose by first being able to hold supplies, but also be decorated on the outside for decor use. Don't be hesitant about asking parents to help out at a celebration for children. With a little imagination and white poster board, crayons, coloring pencils, tape, staples and printed photo images that can be cut, kids can create their own paper hats.

Homemade kids party supplies and other handmade party goods will be well received by all of your little guests. They quite like bright and pretty things of all varieties. Homemade party supplies, such as: handmade crepe paper streamers, kids costumes, paper lanterns, handmade masks and glow sticks will make your party come to life. And your little guests, who will be filled with wonder and energy. Homemade kids party supplies and handmade party goods will take some time on the part of the hostess, but will bring hours of entertainment and fun to the party. All the hard work is sure to be worth it.

More often than not, all the little guests at your kids party will enjoy homemade party supplies such as handmade party streamers, homemade balloon bouquets and homemade banners. In addition to these items, some very unique party supplies can be made for your kids party. Making handmade paper kites and pińatas will entertain your guests for hours and add a lot of fun to the party. The creative proess will be as much fun as the party itself.

Homemade party supplies such as: masks, flags and banners can be seen at your Kids party. Homemade party supplies such as tablecloths, handmade flags and placemats are a welcomed addition to your party and will receive a great review. Guests are sure to rave about their beauty and originality. These items can be made by your guests using various materials and crayons, fabric paint or markers. Your guests will love having the opportunity to make crafts and participate in this homemade kids party.

A kids party cake should be every bit as fun—and downright adorable—as the theme and the young guests that the party will celebrate. Kids always will epet a cake at a festiity And they will want to see one that is bright and very vibrant. And, just like kids themselves, party cakes will differ greatly from one another, depending on the style and location of the party. These party treats claim a good number of forms and designs.

One example of a kids party cake that would suit any children’s party is the clown cake; but again, the type of clown cake a host chooses to prepare will depend on the level of free time and culinary creativity with which the host is working. This will not be a quick or easy cake to make. She could make a rounded ice cream cake in the shape of a clown’s head, topping it with the candy and icing (a strawberry smile, chocolate kisses for eyes, etc.) that will transform the surface of the cake into a clown’s festive face. The kids are sure to love the creativity here. Or she could take a basic sheet cake and top it with party supplies such as miniature plastic clowns and tiny balloon animals.

Other examples of a kids party cake will depend on the location and the guest list of the party. A G.I. Joe cake might go over well at a boys’ party, while little girls might favor a Dora the Explorer or Barbie-based confection.

No ‘kidding;’ a kids party cake is a must for any children’s festivity.

Parents know that their kids have a tremendous capacity for imagination. It’s a part of their need to learn and grow. Today there are lots of kids shows and kids toys out there designed to keep kids interested with imaginary worlds and fantastic places, that also help kids to learn. To make your child’s next birthday party a success you should keep in mind that kids really love to use their imaginations.

To make it easier to come up with a good idea for a party maybe you should take a look at the kinds of television shows that your kids like to watch and their hobbies. Often a party based on your Child’s favorite television is the best way to go and makes for the biggest success.

There are different kinds of kid’s shows for different age groups, so it’s even easier to find the right theme for your kid’s party. Shows like Rolie Polie Olie and Go Diego Go are geared towards for preschool age children. While Sesame Street is great for elementary school children. They are also very educational so you’ll be able to find games and activities related to the shows that help kids to learn as well. Older kids might be interested in shows like, American Choppers. This is a great theme for boys who like to rebuild stuff or are interested in cars and motorcycles.

It’s easy to find the necessary party supplies featuring your chosen party theme. Just remember to push the decoration to the limits when setting up the party area, the more decoration the better. Look for streamers, plates, napkins, balloons, dangles, and even confetti to scatter around. Don’t forget appropriately themed party favors and gifts for the honored guest. Music and DVD’s that fit the party theme are also good ways to keep the kids entertained at the party.

The Kids Party has probably been around as long as kids themselves. Kids more than anyone else love to celebrate. This is the most precious and carefree time of their lives. What child doesn’t love to have fun? Yet the nature and character of kids parties have changed over time. They like to have more high tech fun in this age. At the same time they still love to convene with friends and celebrate youth.

In the early part of the 20th century and before, kids parties were distinguished by their high level of outdoor activity. They had no TV or video games back then. They had to be a bit more creative to find fun. From the frontier days to the 1950s and 1960s, children jumped rope, played catch, red rover and hide and seek, and hot potato (or, in England, pass the parcel), bobbed for apples, and rode bicycles. The activities were healthy, wholesome and fun. This is the stuff of which Rockwell paintings are made. And they chowed down on cake, cupcakes, cookies and punch. That part never changes, as kids always love treats. And they always will eat them in abundance at festivities.

At modern parties, children still chow down on sweet treats as they laugh and joke with friends. Yet the entertainment at a Kids Party has changed significantly over the past two decades. Today’s children are more likely to go indoors to celebrate their festivity, playing video games, watching DVDs, singing Karaoke and dancing to music videos or Dance Dance Revolution. They take advantage of high tech resources for optimum fun.

They may venture outside to play a game of baseball or soccer; overall, though, today’s kids parties are far more high tech.

In fact, some kids are choosing to take their fun online, having web-based parties in chat rooms and groups. Parent supervisors should be present, however, to assure Internet safety. One never can be too careful these days.

Among the most famous—and fanciest—kids parties was the Children’s Party at Buckingham Palace, to commemorate the 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. The party featured a play called “The Queen’s Handbag”—featuring characters that ranged from Harry Potter to the queen itself—and party treats from Jamie Oliver, among other highlights.

Everyone does not drink alcohol, be inclusive when planning a get-together and have a choice of drinks that include non-alcoholic opinions.
