Let the Countdown Begin
Game 3
THE YESTERYEARS NAME GAME: Everyone over the age of 40 likes to boast about how good things were in the ‘good old days’. The name game is played by everyone first sitting in a circle. The first person thinks of a famous person’s name and says it out aloud. The next person must then think of a famous person whose first name begins with the letter of the last person’s surname. So, for instance, if the first person were to say Elvis Presley the next person would have to think of a person who’s Christian name beings with a P. The game continues like this. You can introduce forfeits to people who take too long to search for a name and you can choose to only have famous people from before the 1980s. It will involve a lot of forfeits and plenty of arguments but also a lot of laughter and fun.
