Madagascar was a hit animated Pixar movie when it debuted in 2005. It starred a group of central park zoo animals who are bent on escaping captivity and returning to the wild. It had a sequel in 2008, “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.” The movies have also produced a successful Nickelodeon spin-off T.V series, “The Penguins of Madagascar.”
At a Madagascar party, it's good to talk about your child and how much they like the movie. You can also discuss other Pixar and Dreamworks animated movies, such as Toy Story and Shrek, and how today's animation technology produces such life-like characters and settings. You might also discuss movies and cartoons that you enjoyed as a child.
At a child's party, it's natural to talk about your children. Also, other parents like to talk about their children too. Ask the guests about their children, such as how many kids they have, where they go to school, what sports and activities they're involved in, etc. If your children have school and activities in common with children of other guests, it will give you more to talk about.
Of there are also the old stand-by conversation starters like politics, movies, entertainment and sports. Go online and read up on the latest headlines and happenings. Everyone likes to talk about current events. You can also kibitz about the weather, another old stand by. Also, look up some fun party facts and party quotes to use when there's nothing else to talk about.
