Going beyond old school to do some Homemade Medieval Party Games that while fun, while not inflict to much torture on the guest. Which means having a knowledge of the guest coming to the party to partake in the games that will be made to play. Getting started with one idea for a game when include doing some research about the various types of units used doing the medieval period, like; knights, long bowmen, swordsmen, etc. There of course would be those drafted into combat who did not fit any type of distinction, because of mixed fighters would earn the group the identity of irregulars. Simple put this group would or could contain a variety of fighters from those armed with pitchforks to archers, but many times lacked any formal combat training or discipline.

Continuing to work along with the plan for the game, the next step is going to be to build the troop units and do so in various colors to make them different from each other. A set of dice is going to be needed as well, this may require more then just one set, it could include dice with having more the six sides as well. However before working on the game plan to much, the construction of the basic parts needs to continue. This may include needing index cards and markers to write down nots or actions, decisions, etc.
