Host a mighty, downright thunderous trivia party in honor of the Minnesota Vikings; a legendary team that inspires a lot of devotion among its many fans.
The face of a strong blond Viking (not unlike Thor) forms the logo and trademark of the Minnesota Vikings, whose team colors are purple and gold. Some fans show up at the team’s games wearing these signature colors; still others attend dressed in helmets with fake braids (warriors’ face paint and fake moustaches could complete the picture). And they have been known to sing the Vikings’ fight song, featuring the lyric, ““V-I-K-I-N-G-S, Skol Vikings, Let’s Go!”
Predictably, the Vikings mean business when they hit the field. Throughout the team’s 47-year history, the Minnesota Vikings have always ranked near the top of the division standings. The Vikings have played in Super Bowls IV, VIII, IX, and XI; establishing a Super Bowl participation record that only four NFL teams have been able to surpass. And only the legendary Dallas Cowboys have scored more playoff appearances. And of course the team is known for its legendary players, including the internationally known Brett Favre.
The Minnesota Vikings score off the field as well, by way of their philanthropic efforts. The team’s Planet Purple initiative, for example, involves a plan to build an environmentally progressive stadium, complete with recycled concrete!
