A Minnie Mouse party with music and party supplies is a fantastic theme party idea for any girl who loves Minnie Mouse. Celebrating a special event with outstanding performances that include singing, dancing and acting is a great way to keep the guests involved in the celebration. These fun activities are perfect for guests of all ages and will add a great deal to the celebration. More often than not, these performances will be the perfect addition to a fun filled and exciting event. One way to keep children entertained during a Minnie Mouse party, or any party, is by playing sing-along albums theme related music. Songs & Story: Minnie Mouse by Disney Songs & Story, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Meeska Mooska Mickey, Children's Favorites 1, Disney Baby Lullaby: Favorite Sleepytime Songs for Baby and You (perhaps this album is more suited for bedtime rather than for a party), Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. While not music, make time for some DVD time with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie's Masquerade movie and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie's Bow-Tique (warning: little girls have been known to become addicted to this movie).

Minnie Mouse music, with party supplies and decorations, will make any young girl feel like she is the luckiest girl on earth. Numerous ways to go about making a Minnie Mouse party include making a Minnie Mouse cake or cupcakes, hanging posters, homemade invitations, thank you notes, games, and plenty of great food. Use pink, black, and white colors for a Minnie Mouse party. Implement feather boas, tulle, zebra and poke-a-dot patterns with a Minnie Mouse centerpiece. Inspirational suggestion: Go to bed early so that you can get enough sleep before the demands of the next day. Good organization is the key to planning an occasion with less stress, so may lists and check things off as you go. Group activities and games can be used to keep the guests entertained while keeping them busy at the same time.

What better way to celebrate a little girl’s birthday then by throwing her a Minnie Mouse party with homemade party supplies? For those who are on a tight budget, make handmade Minnie Mouse party supplies that will please any Minnie Mouse fan. Minnie Mouse party colors should be pink, white, and black. Cut out various pictures of Minnie Mouse and hang on the walls. Cut out three round circles from black construction paper, one for the face and two for the ears (or cut out one piece). Cut out a pink bow tie from pink construction paper and add white dots. Use these cutouts as large wall décor or use or connect a series of them making a birthday banner. Research different stylized banners for additional ideas.

Homemade Minnie Mouse centerpieces are necessary party supplies. Take pink, white, and black feathers, colored balloons, faux or real flowers, necklace beads, and foam circles. Most people will find that celebrating a special event with amazing event trimmings, designs and materials is always a great way to add fun to a festive celebration. Enjoyable designs that are perfect for guests of all ages will enhance the event and make the guests feel very special. More often than not, these colorful embellishments will add a lot of attention to the celebration. Use the foam circles as the main pieces of the centerpiece. Place the feathers around the base of the foam circles, and tie balloons around the base for example. String beads around the centerpiece or on the party table. Since this is a Minnie Mouse themed party, draw a large Minnie Mouse on a sheet of paper or poster board.

A Minnie Mouse cake might take the shape of the famous Mickey Mouse ears. Those very distinctive ears are familiar to children all over the world. And to make it feminine so that we know it’s Minnie Mouse instead of Mickey Mouse, we’ll need to dangle some earrings onto it. This fun filled get together is the ideal time for a variety of creative sweets and other tasty treats designed especially for this event. These items are always a great addition to a celebration and most often the addition of enjoyable desserts that are designed especially for this gathering will make everyone feel very extraordinary.

Perfect for a little girl’s birthday party, just take two separate cakes, preferably frosted with dark chocolate, and attach them with a few twisted chocolate licorice sticks. This will make it look like Minnie Mouse’s ears with an attachment.

Outline the ears with some red hots to make it feminine. There are also jewel-like candy ornaments, as well as silver ball cake decorations to add to the look.

Chocolate licorice sticks can be carried to the earring design, leading to a cluster of small colored marshmallows at the end. It will all be laying flat on a cake plate, so the earrings won’t dangle, but they’ll help make the ears look like Minnie’s. If the cake plate is red, or better yet, red with white polka dots, this will add to the Minnie Mouse theme. And a red bow, perhaps made of wide ribbon, can top off the look when placed between the ears.

Minnie Mouse loves a picnic with all her friends. Throw a picnic at the local park and provide everyone with Minnie ears! Most hosts will find that from making a guest list to preparing the food, having a plan will make the celebration go off without a hitch. Simple hostess tip: Prepare for the entire celebration in advance and avoid adding any extra commitments or stress on the hostess during the preparation period. This simple tip will ensure that the hostess has a stress free and very entertaining time during the actual celebration. Ask everyone to come dressed as Minnie Mouse. Decorate the tables with polka-dot tablecloths and hang vividly-colored streamers from trees. Serve the appropriate picnic/party food in colorful baskets. Minnie would have sandwiches, watermelon, lemonade, and cake with an image of herself on top. Pack a basket with tea party supplies, if you want. (Don’t forget the basket filled with bottles of wine for the older guests!) Make sure the plates and napkins are bright and cheerful; consider a party pack with favors for the occasion.

Making Minnie bag tags and/or zipper pulls and playing Mouse Tag will occupy your young guests, as will a piñata shaped like a cat or a heart. Fill the pinata with Dots, Twizzlers, Tootsie Rolls, and old-fashioned lollipops. Have a contest to see who has the best costume and give the winner an autographed poster of Minnie herself. Run relay races around the park and play Pin the Tail on Goofy. You can have a treasure hunt to look for something Donald Duck hid. Keep crayons and Minnie Mouse coloring books out on the tables for budding artists. By the time your leave, they will be full-fledged Mouseketeers!

Minnie Mouse History, Facts and Educational Resources

Add an educational twist to any birthday party, holiday celebration, or theme party.  Share the history of the Minnie Mouse theme to the guests.  Play some free printable educational party games.  Shhh don't tell the kids that they are learning!

Minnie Mouse began her stint through history as a different name. Minerva Mouse was her original moniker. Like Mickey Mouse, she was created by Ub Iwerks in collaboration with Disney. In a comic named Mr. Slicker and the Egg Robbers which debuted in 1930, Minerva Mouses father, and Mother, Marcus Mouse and Margie Mouse respectively were both introduced as farmers. In addition, her grandparents Matilda and Marshall Mouse were also introduced, however, her twin nieces Melody and Millie remained her favorite family members.

Most people are amazed at the history behind many of the shows from the present and past. Like others before them the times of past and the recordings are often as interesting now as they were many years ago. For this reason, fans of the show have held strong and their popularity has continued to grow. Minnie Mouses history is often appearing in the Mickey Mouse cartoon as Mickeys wife. Notably she also appears in other episodes as just a friend to Clarabelle Cow. Minnie Mouse also has a lesser known sister in Mandie Mouse who was also a character who made many guest appearances.

Minnie Mouses original history began as she was designed in the flapper fashion. Her first and main fashion statement was wearing the female version of a bowler hat with her signature daisy sprouting from the top. In some of the cartoons of 1929 she was revealed wearing black stockings as well, right along with her oversized signature black pumps. Minnies show woes have even made their own episode creation such as in The Galloping Gaucho where she actually just walked right out of her shoes. Another of Minnie Mouse's signature features was her pants. Although they were often visible under her dress it was the square patch on the rump of her shorts that had fans fascinated for decades to come. The right favors given to the guests will allow them to remember that day many years from now. Never underestimate the power of a clear glass bowl; fill it with flowers, or glass marbles, or seashells, or candy or chips, or make it a dish garden centerpiece or put holiday ornaments in it. The right favors given to the guests will allow them to remember that day many years from now. The history of Minnie Mouse has different interpretations by each person, so use your own judgement. Share these facts with friends at a celebration.
