Minnie Mouse PARTY CRAFT IDEAS

When you think of Minnie Mouse, what is the first thing you notice about her? Her outfit of course! Minnie Mouse is dressed in a polka dot dress with a big polka dot bow. If you have Minnie Mouse as the theme of your child’s party, creating a dress and bow for each girl is a smash hit! After all, they will be able to be creative and play dress up when they are done.

What you will need:

1. Large paper bags (1 for each girl that will be at the party)
2. Poster board or construction paper
3. Yarn
4. Acrylic paint
5. Markers/Crayons
6. Glue
7. Glitter
8. Scissors
9. Hole punch
10. Misc. craft tools such as stickers

First, each girl should begin with laying the large paper bag out in front of her. Then, have each girl lay on the bags with their back touching the bag while you go around and mark where holes should be cut for the arms. After you have marked the holes, cut an area out so their arm can fit through. Next, cut a line completely down the center of the back so they can slip into it. After that, they can decorate it how they want.

For the bow, pre make a pattern out of poster board that they can trace. They can either trace it onto construction paper and decorate it or use poster board. After you cut out the bow, you can punch two holes in the center about 2 inches apart and thread yarn through it. This is how they will keep the bow in their hair; by tying it into their hair/pony tail.
