Murder Mystery
PARTY CRAFT IDEAS |
 |
Using a collection of Murder Mystery odds and ends, allow each guest to create their own 'murder mystery weapon' and detail in writing how this item was used to commit the dastardly deed. Have a ballot prepared ahead of time, and when each person has finished their murder on paper, exchange them, and have each guest read someone else's scenario.
Then, everyone votes on the most unique murder. The winner takes the prize.
You will need:
• Paper
• Pens or Pencils
• Ballots for voting
• A collection (or List) of madcap murder mystery items such as a fork, a potato masher, an oil cap, soda bottle, roll of saran wrap, bottle of vegetable oil, etc.
**Tip: You might suggest that if someone wanted to attempt to include every item in the list, they might get bonus points.
At the conclusion of the murder mystery party, after the murder mystery has been enacted, each guest can make their guesses using a digital camera, or an instant camera, to take a photo of their choice on whodunit, and then using clear contact paper, and standard crafting items, "frame" that picture of their culprit. Then, each person gets to take turns showing their choice for culprit, and explaining why they think this guest is the murderer. Whoever gets the most guesses, who is not the actual murder has been incorrectly 'framed' and wins a prize. But, if the person was correctly 'framed' the people doing the guessing wins a prize, and of course, these may be taken home as party favors when the party is over. |
