Handmade Nascar Racing Pinatas

Form the shape of the Nascar racing piñata use a few long and round shaped balloons. Use tape to hold the balloons together along with cardboard for the back and front windshield or where needed. Apply 3 layers of paper mache and let dry over night each layer. After the second layer, cut out small holes and place the candy inside. Once the candy is inserted, apply paper mache over the holes. To hang the piñata, tape a coat hanger, cut by a wire hanger, to the top of the NASCAR car. Apply another layer of paper mache. Nascars should have very bright colors with tissue paper or paint (tissue paper is a long standing tradition with piñatas). Use tissue paper and apply starting from the bottom to the top using a glue stick. Have the celebrant help in making the piñata as well. Not only can the celebrant enjoy the piñata when it is finished but also feel like they are contributing to party preparations.
