Nautical parties are fun because there are a lot of neat crafts that you can do in order to keep the party afloat. In this craft, we will make our own nautical wreaths where each guest can take theirs home and display it. What You Will Need: A straw wreath for each guest Netting Twine Seashells Moss Glue gun Glue sticks Scissors Thin and thick ribbon Twigs Starfish Other nautical items that can be glued First, each guest will receive a straw wreath. This is the wreath that will be decorated the way they want. Have each guest take about 2-3 feet of twine and tie the two ends together. This should form a completed twine circle. Next, lay the twine circle out on the table and place the straw wreath over the twine just where the bottom half is visible through the center of the wreath. Take the twine in the center of the wreath, pull it up toward the top of the wreath where the twine rests on the wreath and then loop it through the center of the twine that is still lying on the table. This will be the hanger. When you are done, simply start to decorate it the way each guest wants. Make sure you have plenty of glue sticks and a small glue gun per 2-3 guests. It helps to have an example for your guests to see so it jump starts their imagination.
