A Ni Hao Kai-Lan party game that can be played at your theme party might include holding up Chinese cards that say something in the Chinese language and seeing if anyone knows what it says in English. Or, a card may be held up that has a picture of an object on it, and the children can tell how to say it in Chinese and in English. You might add other languages, too. How many languages can the children say “bathroom” in, for example. Or a word written in Chinese, which looks more like a symbol to English-speaking children, might be translated into the English word, and each person could get a copy of this card to hold onto it as a learning tool, as well as a party favor. If it is the word for “house,” maybe a picture of a house can be on the back of it.
