Nineties Party Invitations

What To Say in the Nineties Invitations
The Nineties were a great decade and the invitations can reflect the fun. You should always have the basic information; time, date and location. Try using terms like ”Word dude, You are invited to a fly party.” or “ Be sure to wear your bling. And come stylin.” Your guests will need to know if it is a costume party. For your sake, always put a RSVP and a reply date. That saves you the trouble of having to guess how many people are planning to come.

When To Mail the Invitations
Mailing invitations is always a little tricky and a bit of an art form. If you mail too early the guests may forget and if you mail too late they may have already made other plans. Fortunately for most parties there is a window of opportunity that works well. Normally you can mail the invites out about two to three weeks in advance of a party. This gives the guests time to plan and the host time to get RSVPs back. If it is a costume party and will take some extra planning on the part of the guests then try three to four weeks. Anything longer than four weeks may require a “save the date” card. They are not usually sent out for informal events; however, that is why the two to three weeks is a good time frame to work with.

What To Say in the Thank You Notes
For a nineties party it would be nice to continue the party spirit by adding some nineties terms. For instance, “You were mega fun at the party” or “It was one sweet party.” Mostly what you want to convey along with the sense of fun is a sincere thank you to your guests.
