The Oakland Raiders are a legendary team worthy of a grand celebration; especially one that includes some awesome Oakland Raiders handmade games.
In the homemade game Raid the Raiders Treasure Chest, Oakland Raiders fans could be challenged to answer pertinent trivia questions about the team. These could include “In how many Super Bowl games have the Oakland Raiders participated?” (Answer: Four. The Raiders won Super Bowl XI in 1977 as well as Super Bowl XV in 1981, and also competed in Super Bowl II in 1968 as well as Super Bowl XXXVII in 2003), “What is the team’s win-loss record?” (Answer: The Raiders have reigned victorious in a total of 418 games from 1960 to 2010), “What are the team’s signature colors?” (black and white), “What is the name of the team’s cheerleading squad?” (Answer: The Raiderettes), and “Who was the team’s first coach and general manager?” (Answer: Al Davis). Guests who supply the right answers to these questions will be given permission to raid the Raiders Treasure Chest; a collection of team merchandise placed in a large, gold-colored container beset with faux jewels. Possible prizes could include Raiders drinking mugs, bobble heads, stickers, cup holders, decals, pennants and T-shirts.
Another handmade Oakland Raiders game is Raiders of the Lost Football Party; a game that revolves around a hand drawn treasure map supplied by the host. Using bright colors and cartoonish symbols, the map could depict the party area as a place of wonder and adventure; or, at the very least, as a place where lots of cool Raiders merchandise is cleverly hidden for their discovery. Written on this map could be clever clues that allude to the whereabouts of the various prize items. This Raiders-style scavenger hunt could be enjoyed during half time, or before or after the Raiders game being shown at the party that day.
