THEME RECIPE
|
 |
Pajama Macaroni and Cheese (Casserole). This is my family's favorite Pajama Macaroni and Cheese. My dad taught my mom how to make it right after
they got married, they have now passed the recipe to their children and me and my siblings are so grateful because its delicious, we now make it for our friends and its a hit.
1 lb box of elbow macaroni -- cook according to package directions
margarine/butter
sharp cheddar cheese
salt
pepper
In a 2-quart casserole (I usually grease it, but I'm not sure that's
necessary), layer cooked macaroni, dabs of butter/cheese, and salt and pepper.
You should be able to do about 3-4 layers. After the top layer of
butter/cheese/salt/pepper, beat ONE EGG (or two if you like) in a 2-cup
measuring cup, then add MILK to make 2 cups. Beat together and pour over
macaroni. Pour more milk in to fill almost to top of macaroni. Crumble a
cracker (I usually use Ritz or Townhouse, but Saltine or anything else would
be fine) or sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top.
Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
The flavor of this delicate Pajama Macaroni and Cheese Casserole is fantastic. Try making some its so easy and rich in cheesy flavor I love it and so does my entire group of friends. I like the fact that is really cheap to make and it has a rich flavor enjoy.

Pajama MENU IDEAS |
 |
Pajama parties are fun for young girls to experience. They’ve waited a long time for the chance to stay up all night and gossip with their friends, watch scary movies and eat enough sugar to start a riot. Embrace this fun party with the girls by planning a special slumber party menu.
Gossip Snack Mix, Sleep over Snicker doodles, and Best Friend Fruit are terrific themed snacks for a pajama party. It’s good to have light snacks so there is plenty to eat as the girls stay up past midnight.
Making sleepover snicker doodles for the Slumber party is a cinch with this easy to follow recipe. First gather 2 eggs, 2/3 cup oil, 2 teaspoon vanilla, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, sifted, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon or 2 teaspoon grated lemon rind, and 1/2 cup sugar. Next, pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium sized bowl, beat eggs with fork, stir in oil, vanilla and lemon rind. Blend in 3/4 cup sugar until mixture thickens. Blend in remaining flour, baking powder, and salt; add to mixture. Roll mixture into 1 inch balls. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon and then roll the balls in the sugar mixture. For baking, place on baking sheet, criss-cross with fork. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Remove immediately from baking sheet. Variations: You may omit cinnamon and use 2 teaspoon lemon rind in batter, roll in sugar and bake.
Pajama parties can be so much fun, make sure to have a menu right for the occasion! By just adding even one simple food item to the menu will help create
a complete Pajama theme party feeling. |
