Then gather materials for the crafts. Wreaths would work well, and can be crafted to match any number of themes. Get or make a wreath from thick vines by twisting the vines in a hoop shape and tying the together with a few plastic ties. Use silk, plastic or paper flowers to decorate it. Depending on the season or event you might use leaves or dried nuts and berries. Finish it off with a ribbon that matches the theme and you have a great craft project that can be altered to match any seasonal or event theme.
Homemade Theme Matching Costumes: Some of the very best costumes are homemade. Pick a fun theme like magic. Use cloth to craft capes and sparkle them up with glitter. Cut the cloth in a rectangle narrowing one end until it is small enough to just fit around your neck. The other end should be wide enough to drape at your sides. Sew satin ribbon at the neck to tie the cape in front. Tape two empty paper towel rollers together and then wrap them completely with a color plastic tape. Black works wells. Tape a small Styrofoam ball to the end of the rollers and put glue on it. While the glue is still sticky completely cover the ball with glitter. You now have a wizard's cape and wand. It can be made in sets can worn as matching costumes. It can be made to match a Halloween themed party or a magic themed party.

Leave empty pages so the guests can continue to fill in the scrapbooks. Next give each guest a single use camera and a coupon to get the film developed. Now they can take pictures at the party and put them in the homemade scrapbook. The scrapbooks themselves can be made of heavy duty cardboard covered with contact paper and the pages can be card stock. Punch holes in the cardboard and card stock and tie them together with ribbon to make great little scrapbooks.
Handmade Theme Matching Pinatas: Make a pi?ata that will matches the theme of your party. For a great easy pi?ata get a paper bag and fill it half way up with candy or small toys. Cut wide strips of tissue paper and glue them around the bag so that the ends meet. Use different colors to make the bag striped. Completely cover the bag. Cut more tissue paper and make long streamers that can be glued to the bottom of the bag. Punch two holes in the folded top and thread a heavy cord through it to hang the bag with. This will make a great pi?ata. It will have to be hit really hard to break but that makes it more fun.
