Theme Matching Craft Party Ideas: Craft parties are fun and having one with a theme is even better. Pick your theme, it could be a holiday, or a special event or even make one up. Then gather materials for the crafts. Wreaths would work well, and can be crafted to match any number of themes. Get or make a wreath from thick vines by twisting the vines in a hoop shape and tying the together with a few plastic ties. Use silk, plastic or paper flowers to decorate it. Depending on the season or event you might use leaves or dried nuts and berries. Cut wide strips of tissue paper and glue them around the bag so that the ends meet. Use different colors to make the bag striped. Completely cover the bag. Cut more tissue paper and make long streamers that can be glued to the bottom of the bag. Punch two holes in the folded top and thread a heavy cord through it to hang the bag with. This will make a great pi?ata. It will have to be hit really hard to break but that makes it more fun.
