A Pirate theme party must include pirate theme music (pirates loved to drink and sing, among other sea adventures). Celebrating a special event with outstanding performances that include singing, dancing and acting is a great way to keep the guests involved in the celebration. These fun activities are perfect for guests of all ages and will add a great deal to the celebration. More often than not, these performances will be the perfect addition to a fun filled and exciting event. When it comes to pirate music, there is no shortage of sea shanties and tunes to sing the night away with all the other buccaneers. A pirate theme party cannot go wrong with the soundtracks of the Pirates of The Caribbean movies. If such soundtracks are not enough, try other quality pirate albums such as:

Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs, and Chanteys
Pirates of Caribbean: Swashbuckling Sea Songs
Great Pirate Music: Music Inspired By Pirates Of The Caribbean
Irish Pirate Ballads and Other Songs of the Sea by Dan Milner

Keep the pirate theme party authentic as possible with music, food, costumes and party décor. A pirate theme birthday will delight and please anyone young or old who is a fan of the pirate movies and way of life. Creative tip: Make sure to put a stamp on all invitations that are to be mailed in a timely fashion. Sending out save-the-date cards is extremely important as the holidays approach and guests have a number of social engagements to attend. Plan ahead by including at start time for the day and if needed include a reasonable end time as well.

Handmade pirate hats, hooks and a homemade plank will make your Pirate party very entertaining. Pirate party handmade supplies such as a homemade treasure chest and handmade eye patch will not compare to actually walking the plank and hunting for treasures. Most people will find that a Pirate party is not complete without black balloons, paper plates, napkins, party streamers, treasure chest centerpieces and pirate sipper cups or water bottles.

Most hosts will find that fun and exciting activities will be a great addition to this fun filled celebration. More often than not fun activities in which everyone can play and participate along with decorative supplies will liven up the event and make it very special. For this reason, planning and organization will be very beneficial for the host. Planning and organizing a Pirate party can be a lot of fun and the use of handmade party supplies such as a cardboard pirate ship, wooden planks and homemade treasure chests will make it realistic. Homemade Pirate party costumes along with handmade treasure maps will make the party very entertaining. From making handmade Pirate hats, swords and wooden planks to digging for treasures and using a handmade treasure map your Pirate party will be the talk of your friends.

Most handmade party supplies for a Pirate party are easy to make. Additionally, other party supplies such as flashlights, glow sticks, plastic swords, pirate costumes and plastic hooks will add to the celebration. Furthermore, other personalized party supplies such as banners, signs and garden flags, along with Pirate party goods such as paper plates, cups, napkins, noise makers and hats will make the Pirate party one to treasure.

A Pirate party is the perfect party for a pirate theme cake. Your little pirate and his friends will enjoy a pirate party and love your favorite cake made into a Pirate cake. This exciting and fun event is the ideal time for a variety of creative desserts and other tasty treats designed especially for this celebration. These items are always a great addition to a celebration and most often the addition of enjoyable fares that are designed especially for this gathering will make everyone feel very special. This cake is simply to make using your favorite cake recipe, blue food coloring, and red food coloring along with white and chocolate icing. Your pirate cake can be either rectangular or round, the choice is yours, but a rectangular cake will give you more room for making a great ocean design for your Pirate cake.

After baking your cake, let it cool and then using blue food coloring mix a container of blue food coloring with white icing. This will create a great ocean floor for your Pirate cake. Spread the blue icing over the cake. After this has been completed, add a miniature pirate ship and pirate to the top of the cake or draw both the miniature pirate ship and pirate on the cake to create the Pirate theme. Most people will find that drawing the pirate ship and pirate are rather easy and then they can simply add the words, Happy Birthday to finish the cake. This Pirate cake, along with Pirate party supplies and other Pirate items will make your party complete.

Did you know that September 19th is the international Talk Like a Pirate Day. Be sure to turn your next party into a fun Pirate themed party for everyone including your Pirates of the Carribean fans, not just the kids. This means the adults can dress up like pirates and act like kids for a little while. When throwing your pirate themed party, make sure to send out invitations to everyone telling them that this is a costume party, although if you forget you can probably count on a few people coming dressed up on their own. These fun items along with cute supplies are always a great addition to a celebration and fun posters that include designs and greetings that are perfect for the celebration will liven up the event and make everyone feel very special. More often than not, these signs and posters will add a lot of fun to the celebrated get together.

You can easily provide food and drink fitting for an adult pirate party. The pirates loved their beer. Food should be rich and hearty. Lots of meats and cheeses. Perhaps you can set up a cold cuts buffet and let everyone make their own sandwiches for the event. Make sure you have plenty of cut bread as these pirate guests of yours will certainly have appetites to match their garb. Order extra of everything.

Pirates of the Caribbean themed decorations are only suiting to the event. You can hang up red and black streamers, a skull and crossbones and give out eye patches and plastic hooks as party favors to the guests who happen to arrive without their pirate garb. Entertainment can be lots of pirate movies and if you do not feel like watching a movie try playing a CD of the movie soundtrack from the recent pirate movie, Curse of the Black Pearl.

Pirates liked their gold too so you can set up a few poker and blackjack games to entertain the guests. If you want to keep the party civil then use chocolate foil covered coins instead of real money in your betting. That way the winners still get a special treat and no one is throwing punches over lost money. See if you can start up a few rounds of classic sea shanties with the guests and get a real sing-a-round going at the party. If not, do not worry, just go back to your good food, entertainment and poker game!
