Homemade Pirates of the Caribbean Party Game

Have pirates compete for loot (party favors) with homemade Pirates of the Caribbean party games. At the beginning of the Pirates of the Caribbean give all the party guests pirate names. This can be done with a pirate name generator. Once the pirates have their pirates names let the pirate fun commence.

Pass the Cannonball, like hot potato, can be played using a black balloons for this homemade Pirates of the Caribbean game. Have the children sit in a circle and pass the balloon around and this player holding the cannonball when the music stops is eliminated.

Mutiny on the Ship is a very fun homemade Pirates of the Caribbean that must be played with many scallywags. Before the game begins, give one child a card that says mutiny on it. Name someone the Captain and it is his or her job to find the mutiny leader. The kids start in the center of the party area, and on the hosts mark, the players run to the ends of the party area (safe zone) before the captain can tag them. One the hosts mark the players run to the center of the area. If a player is tagged and does not have the mutiny card they are eliminated. The game continues until the mutiny leader is found and must walk the plank.

Walk the Plank can be played using a 2 x 4 boards and some willing mates for this Pirates of the Caribbean homemade game. Simply walking across the plank may be too easy so increase the difficulty level by blindfolding the children as they walk across the plank. Ensure the boards are not too far off the ground in order to avoid injury. Have the children walk backwards, hop on one foot, tie arms behind back etc.

Find the Treasure can be played sing a large box aka treasure chest, Styrofoam pieces, and a few gold coins or real quarters, dimes and pennies. Blindfold the players and give them 30 seconds or so to go through the Styrofoam or other filling and find as many coins as possible.
