Numerous homemade party supplies for a Pokemon party include cutouts, Pikachu hats, coloring pages, Pokemon images, banners, and centerpieces. To make a simple centerpiece, print out various Pokemon characters and cutout them out from the paper. Take thick construction paper or poster board and cut out the same outline. Glue the paper print out to the poster board of construction paper. Tape long stick to the back of the Pokemon characters and insert into a piece of Styrofoam. Cover the Styrofoam with faux yellow flowers, feathers, and curling ribbon and tie balloons to the base. Store bought centerpieces are great for a themed party but lack uniqueness. Handmade centerpieces allow party throwers an opportunity to create a grand centerpiece all can appreciate at the Pokemon themed party.
Homemade Pokemon party supplies can include a Pokemon themed banner as well. Use text similar to the Pokemon when creating a banner - which may read Happy Birthday (insert name), Pokemon & (Insert name) Welcomes. Research on how to draw Pokemon text to ensure its accuracy. Once the Pokemon text is drawn cut out the letters to form a banner and hang in the desired location.
Poke Ball cookies will be fun for all the kids at your Pokemon celebration. Easy to do, just dip Oreo cookies halfway into red candy melts. You can even make them part of your party favor by putting them in clear plastic baggies.

There are many famous cartoon characters from the Pokeman cartoon series, cards, games, and so on, to make a cake out of. For the birthday boy or girl who will be the guest of honor, choose their favorite.
Pikachu was a favorite among young children for a long time. If this is the child’s favorite, it will be easy to shape the cake into the Pokeman character and color it appropriately with cake decorations and frosting.
First, be sure to choose the birthday girl or boy’s favorite cake. Make it large enough to be able to cut it into the shape of Pikachu and have enough left to cut and serve pieces of the cake. Bake the cake as directed, let it cool, and find a picture of the Pikachu character to draw an outline of the character to use as a stencil. Draw it as large of you can, using as much of the cake as possible.
Just before frosting the cake, with yellow frosting, of course, cut out the shape of Pikachu using your stencil. Frost the cake with the right colors for the character. The body will be all yellow, the cheeks pink circles, and the eyes and tips of the ears black.
