Handmade Pokemon Pinatas

A Pokemon theme party will only get better with the addition of party supplies and handmade piñatas. These items along with Pokemon party supplies such as paper plates, cups and trading cards will add a lot to the party. Homemade Pinatas are good for a variety of reasons, namely playing the Pinata game, but they also make great decorations and party favors. Therefore, having a few handmade Pokemon piñatas at your next party will make the guests very happy.

Everyone loves homemade pinatas at a Pokemon party. Making a Pikachu piñata and other handmade piñatas for a Pokemon party is a lot easier than it sounds. Homemade piñatas such as these add a great deal to a party and also serve as great party favors. To make a handmade Pikachu piñata use a large grocery bag and decorate it by coloring or painting it a dark color. Then use a Pokemon run off sheet and cut out a picture of Pikachu. Color the picture of Pikachu and paste on the bag. After the handmade piñatas bag has been decorated fill it halfway with various candy and Pokemon items. Then fill the remainder of the bag with newspaper or other paper items and then close the bag by tying it together at the top and leaving string enough to hand it from a tree or another area.

Before busting open the homemade piñatas at the Pokemon party go over the rules for bursting the piñatas. Once all of the children have heard the rules blindfold them one at a time and allow them to try to bust open the handmade piñatas. When the piñatas are finally busted monitor the kids to make sure everyone gets at least a little candy and a few special treats. This small task will ensure all of the guests have a great time with the handmade piñatas at your next Pokemon party.
