Homemade Pool Party Game

Who does not love a pool party filled with homemade games, food, and plenty of fun having people. Children’s pool parties are great because pool parties give children an opportunity to have fun while exercising (swimming and jumping around in the pool burns off calories).

Water Tag is played just like a regular game of tag for this homemade pool party with a slight difference. Instead of using hands to tag someone use a large sponge or ball and throw it other players. The player who is hit must leave the pool and wait until a new game begins.

Water Balloon Toss is a homemade game of keep away in which players must keep the water balloons away from an unfortunate individual as long as possible without the water balloon popping.

Grab it First is a homemade game that is a race for quick swimmers. Two players stand on opposite ends of the swimming pool with another player standing in the middle of the pool on the side throws a ball into the center of the pool. The two players standing on the side dive into the pool and race to the ball. First player to get to the ball and holds is the winner. The winner then is challenged by another player.

Those with a larger pool may consider homemade relay races (Olympic style) for a simple party game.

Soaked Tee race is a game for good swimmers with excellent endurance for a challenging party game. Players must wear a large t shirt and swim back and forth to and from the pool edges as fast as possible a desired number of times. The player who has the fasts time is the winner.
