The Powerpuff Girls are fun and colorful role models to countless little girls around the world. Why not plan a powerful Powerpuff Girls party; one that comes complete with some empowered trivia about these strong, dynamic, and just downright cute characters?
The party host could share the fact, for example, that the Powerpuff Girls are the stars of a popular Cartoon Network show; three spunky and super powered characters specifically designed to save the world before bedtime. The show’s three main characters are Blossom, the commander and the leader, the appropriately named Bubbles, known for her joy and laughter, and Buttercup, the toughest fighter. This trio of tiny super heroines was created by mastermind Professor Utonium when he mixed a substance known as Chemical X with some sugar and spice. It is the duty of the Powerpuff Girls to protect their beloved home of Townsville from bad guys and villains such as Mojo Jojo, Fuzzy Lumpkins, Him, Princess, and the Gangreen Gang.
Also at the Powerpuff Girls party, the host will want to present some history about the show. Created in 1992 by animator Craig McCracken, the series has inspired the imaginations of young fans for years, as well as a line of merchandise that includes stickers and decals, bouncy balls, T-shirts, sunglasses, novelty jewelry (lip gloss necklaces and—natch—powder-puff compacts are available, for example), yo yos, etc. The gals also inspired their own feature film, “The Powerpuff Girls Movie” in 1992, as well as related video games and an anime comic.
Any young girl can feel like a Powerpuff Girl at a party ‘powered’ by some fun and interesting talk trivia facts! Puff power!
