Most hosts will find that from making a guest list to preparing the food, having a plan will make the celebration go off without a hitch. Simple hostess tip: Prepare for the entire celebration in advance and avoid adding any extra commitments or stress on the hostess during the preparation period. This simple tip will ensure that the hostess has a stress free and very entertaining time during the actual celebration. A healthy appetizer might be an edible fruit arrangement with melon balls, grapes, pineapple chunks, and more. You can strategically place them in an arrangement using a Styrofoam base attached to a sturdy plate, so that the arrangement will not topple over. The fruits will be pushed into toothpicks and skewers. In a vegetable appetizer arrangement, there may be some peeled, thin carrot sticks, celery, broccoli florets, and a dip to go with these raw veggies.

Another item on the Princess and the Frog party menu might be caramel popcorn as a sweet treat. And a cute twist to two favorite desserts is ice cream cupcakes and cake ice cream cups. That is, cupcakes that are placed into ice cream cones, and ice cream that is decorated as a cupcake. This gives the two desserts a cute twist.

A fun thing to try for drinks might be talking soda pop. This can really be done with any drink, such as juice, punch, or even water. While serving the drink, just drop a Pop Rocks action candy into it. It will bubble and pop, and the kids will love it. If you can’t find Pop Rocks, there are other brand names of action candies available.
