Charleston lessons can be given as a Princess and the Frog party game, as this is a dance that can be done alone. It’s great fun and it can be danced to a variety of different jazz songs other than just “The Charleston.” You may even want to give a prize to the best dancer, or maybe the one you need to give an “A” for effort. Everyone can learn at once, or they may be a separate room for maybe five kids at a time to learn it. Then they can practice whenever a song comes on that they can dance to. A separate dance floor or dance area will encourage everyone to take a try at it. They may even add their own moves, as there are many variations and additions to the Charleston that can be included.
