San Diego, California’s Qualcomm Stadium is the setting for the history making San Diego Chargers dressed in their navy and gold décor. The Chargers were first established in 1960 and were known originally as the Los Angeles Chargers and owned by Barron Hilton. Their first season was played in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California. However, after one year in Los Angeles, the team relocated to San Diego and took on the name, San Diego Chargers. Initially in San Diego, they played their home games at Balboa Stadium and then in 1966 they moved to the Qualcomm Stadium and have played their ever since.

The San Diego Chargers have had numerous playoff appearances and have won fifteen division championships, but have only had one Super Bowl appearance. In 1994, they played in their first Super Bowl, which was Super Bowl XXIX against the San Francisco 49ers and lost 49-26. The 1994 season was considered one of the best in the history of the San Diego Chargers.

Most fans and supporters understand that in order to have a winning and victorious team, the team itself, must have winning and flourishing players. Some of the most prominent players for the Chargers were: Johnny Unitas, Dan Fouts, Deacon Jones, Lance Alworth, Ron Mix, Fred Dean, Charlie Joiner, and Kellen Winslow.
