This holiday is a little-known day that is observed on a Wednesday at the end of April and is actually now referred to as Administrative Professionals Day. Regardless of the nomenclature, though, these career professionals are the backbone of the office and should be honored on their special day. Participating in crafts can be a great way to take note of the very important work that secretaries do for their offices.

One Secretaries Day craft in which to take part is the creation of individualized coffee mugs. While it may seem a little basic and diminutive a task, secretaries were once expected to deliver coffee to their bosses and others in the office. In reverse, you can provide them with a beautiful hand painted coffee mug of their own, filled perhaps with individual sized coffee packets that they can use to make coffee for themselves.

While that sentiment is an excellent choice, you may also wish to craft an additional piece for Secretaries Day, maybe putting together a banner that you can print out announcing the occasion and thanking each individual secretary within the office. This can be done by hand or with computer graphics and printed to hang in the office on the occasion.
