Homemade Slumber Party Game

Slumber parties are some of the most fun times young girls can have so encourage all the slumber party guests to play homemade slumber party games until bed time.

Before the slumber party heads into the house for the evening have the slumber party guests play a few homemade tag and relay race games. Wolf on the Prowl is a tag game fun for children and the person chasing them. The wolf is hungry and wants to eat so players must run and hide in the party area (back or front yard). On go, the players must run and hide in the hopes the wolf does not find them. If the wolf spots a child that child can run to the safe zone. If the child is caught he or she is eliminated from play. The game continues until the wolf is full or everyone is caught.

Guess Who is a homemade slumber party game in which guests are given a series of questions they must answers on a sheet of paper with their names. The host of the slumber party then reads off the answers on one sheet such as favorite color, band, movie etc. It is the players job to guess who wrote the answers. The first player to guess correctly wins that round of play. The more who play this game the better.

The Match or Memory game is a homemade slumber party game perfect for those with excellent memorization skills. Under the cups place different candies or small objects in a row. For example, if using twenty-four Styrofoam cups line the cups in 4 x 6 or 6 x 4 columns. The player must choose a cup, the hosts lifts it, and the player chooses another cup. If the candies are a match then the candy and cups are removed and the same player receives another turn. If the cups are not a match then the next player receives a turn and so on. To make the game more challenging, after every person has had a turn rearrange the cups to start the next round of play.
