Smurfs
GAME 2 |
 |
Gargamel and Azrael, his cat always give the Smurfs trouble so let the kids play a treasure hunt with a twist in it using these characters. Before the party hide treasure all over the yard. You can put Smurf figures, Smurf stickers, blue glow bracelets and necklaces and any other treasures in clear plastic sandwich and freeze bags. Make sure you have more than enough. Let the kids hunt for them but warm them that Gargamel and Azrael might try to stop them. Have a parent or teenage brother in a dark robe and a mask run out and chase the kids. Before Gargamel’s appearance announce loudly. “I think I just saw Gargamel!” Then when he comes out yell, “Run! Run!” Have him run around the area and then leave. Tell the kids he is gone for good. Give a special prize to the child that finds the most treasure and party favors to everyone.

Smurfs
Game 3
“Smurf, Smurf, Smurfette,” is a great game to play at a Smurf party. This game is adapted from, “Duck, Duck, Goose.” For the most part, young children will love playing this game as they pretend to be Smurfs while playing this fun game. Most children love playing, “Duck, Duck, Goose,” and therefore, adapting this game to a Smurfs theme will be a lot of fun and quite enjoyable. This game will bring a lot of excitement to the party and get the children up and moving around the room. The game itself is very easy to play. First of all, have the children sit in a small circle on the floor. One person is selected to go first and this person stands on the outside of the circle and as he or she walks around the circle they tap the shoulders of the other players and say, “Smurf, smurf…..smurf…smurf…and then .SMURFETTE." When the word, “Smurfette,” is said the last person that had his shoulders touched quickly jumps up and then begins to chase that person around the circle. If that person makes it completely around the circle they sit down in the person that got ups place. If they get tagged they go in the middle of the circle until the game is over. The person that gets back in the other person’s place then becomes the next tapper. "Smurf, smurf, smurfette," is a great game for your own Smurfs party.
