Why not include songs about spiders for the Spiderman theme party? Songs about spiders include:

The Itsy Bitsy Spider
Tune: Down By The Station
Early in the morning
The spiders love to spin,
Then by and by
The flies drop in.

And when they come,

The spiders always say,
“We’re glad you came
For dinner today”!
Jean Warren
Adapted Traditional

Tune: Farmer In The Dell
Spiders crawl around, (children crawl around)
Spiders up and down, (stand up, bend down)
Spiders, spiders make a web, ( join right hands to form a spoke)
Spiders circle ‘round. (walk around in a circle together)
Spiders in and out, (crawl fingers on left hand, down and back on right arm)
Spiders all about, (repeat crawl action)
Spiders, spiders make a web,
Spiders now sit down. (children sit down)
Jean Warren A box can serve a dual purpose by first being able to hold supplies, but also be decorated on the outside for decor use. Don't be hesitant about asking parents to help out at a celebration for children. With a little imagination and white poster board, crayons, coloring pencils, tape, staples and printed photo images that can be cut, kids can create their own paper hats.

Homemade Spiderman party supplies can make the Spiderman themed party a memorable one. Taking various Spiderman pictures and paste them on the walls. Use artistic abilities to draw and paint Spiderman on poster board. To make handmade spider webs, take crepe paper and make a crisscross paper on the ceiling to the floor. First, make an X and then a + on the ceiling, that extends to the floor, to create eight main lines. Return to the center and work in a spiral, taping the streamer at each intersection.

Most people will find that celebrating a special event with amazing event trimmings, designs and materials is always a great way to add fun to a festive celebration. Enjoyable designs that are perfect for guests of all ages will enhance the event and make the guests feel very special. More often than not, these colorful embellishments will add a lot of attention to the celebration. Peter Parker aka Spiderman works for the Daily Bugle, why not create newspaper headline party supplies. Print out various headlines and hang on the walls. Headlines can read like Spiderman Saves City, Reward: Pictures Of Spiderman, and so on. Use a word program to make the Spiderman headlines.

Include a handmade Spiderman tablecloth with above-mentioned party supplies as well. Take a red tablecloth and draw on the Spiderman that Spiderman wears on his tights. Draw the pattern on first to ensure it is accurate and then trace over the pencil with black marker. After the black marker has been applied, use a silver marker over the black. Always research additional homemade party supplies for a Spiderman or other superhero themed party.

Wonderful things can be done with caramel when making a Spiderman cake. This adventurous celebration is the ideal time for a variety of creative desserts and other tasty treats designed especially for this event. These items are always a great addition to a celebration and most often the addition of enjoyable desserts that are designed especially for this gathering will make everyone feel very special. For the next little boy’s birthday party, try this trick.

Heat some caramel so that it is soft and runny. Then drizzle it over a sheet of parchment paper making it drip into a web-like design. This will be placed on top of the cake, so make it large enough to cover it. When it cools, it will be stiff but very fragile, so handle it delicately. Brush some black food coloring over it. If black is not available, a dark blue mixed with just a bit of red will come close to the color.

When that dries, handle the parchment paper delicately and hover it over the top of the cake. Gently place the web over the cake and trim off any unwanted pieces that overlap. This is the basis for the Spiderman cake. Now you can add the actual action figure to it, along with other characters from the series, or place an edible photo of Spiderman over the top. The kids will love it.Another variation is the web over the cake as Spiderman’s face, and simply make the eyes with white frosting. If the caramel does not work for you, or it breaks, black string licorice might work out better.

Scan a Spiderman comic strip onto your computer, and use a photo software program to take the conversation out of the captions, so you can replace Spiderman with the party details. Most hosts will find that from making a guest list to preparing the food, having a plan will make the celebration go off without a hitch. Simple hostess tip: Prepare for the entire celebration in advance and avoid adding any extra commitments or stress on the hostess during the preparation period. This simple tip will ensure that the hostess has a stress free and very entertaining time during the actual celebration.

Decorate your backyard or party room with spider web cotton. Add plenty of plastic spiders, a cut-out of Spidey and Spiderman posters for added effect. Play the theme from the Spiderman Movies in the background, and the stage is set for a great Spiderman Birthday Party! Have fun hanging plastic spiders from the walls.

Have a craft area with coloring pages, markers for a great welcome activity, or if you need to use more time, you can have craft foam, scissors, markers, glitter glue, and other items so the guests can make their own version of a superhero mask. Kids will need assistance with this, so be sure to enlist the aid of older helpers or other parents.

Another good party activity is a game of "Getting a Wrap on Crime!"
In this game, divide guests into teams. The ideal number is three, but as few as two or as many as four will work. Let them decide who is the criminal, and let each team of Crime fighters, wrap up crime, by wrapping their criminal in toilet paper. The first team to empty their roll completely wins!

An easy, inexpensive alternative for an expensive bakery cake to fit your Spiderman Birthday Party theme is to make Cobweb Cupcakes. To do this, use a mix or a recipe you like to make cupcakes. Frost them using red (red food coloring in any light frosting works) and make a spider web with decorating gel. Place a candy spider on top for the perfect finish to your Spiderman Birthday Party! Also, don't forget that those kids who would enjoy a Spiderman party would also have fun with a Superman theme.

This fictional superhero has a longer history then some may think. Created and appearing in Amazing Fantasy comic books in 1962, the young orphan that would become Spiderman made his debut. This teen orphan who was raised by his aunt and uncle had just like other teenagers normal struggles to cope with in addition to the loss of his parents as well as his role as a costume wearing crime fighter. However, during the day and age when Spiderman made his first appearance teenagers in comic books were notoriously given sidekick status. But Spiderman was given all of the skills it took to make it on his own. He needed no sidekick and indeed one may have gotten in his way considering his talents.

The creators gave Spiderman skills that would certainly be responsible for him making it into the history books. Most people are amazed at the history behind many of the shows from the present and past. Like others before them the times of past and the recordings are often as interesting now as they were many years ago. For this reason, fans of the show have held strong and their popularity has continued to grow. Spiderman was able to cling to most any surface which enabled him to make hair raising climbs up the tallest of buildings. He could also shoot spider webbing and was gifted with innate spider sense that greatly increased his agility when fighting foes. His super human strength and natural agility made him a teenage force to be reckoned with.

The history of the character behind the superhero was a bit different. Peter Parker made his appearance as a lonely and downtrodden teen boy that many readers found themselves immediately able to related to. Without any other superhero mentors or a sidekick to learn from Peter Parker was even more on his own then any other young superhero before him.
