Handmade St Patricks Day Party Favors

Well, St. Patrick’s Day is all about the wearing of the green, so make sure your handmade party favors include a lot of green in them. Start with green beer. St. Patrick’s Day is just not special without beer, and if you use your favorite food coloring, your guests will love it.

You can easily create a shamrock as a homemade party favor centerpiece out of green foam sheets. If these are not available, you can try foam boards and paint them green. Even construction paper would be fine, but it will need some backing to make it stiff enough to stand up on the table. Cut the foam into the shape of a four-leaf clover, insert a thin wire into the foam sheet, and place it against a skewer. The skewer will be fastened to the wire with string and glue, and then it will be stuck into half of a foam ball that is placed in a basket. Paint the basket green for more of a festive effect for the holiday. Try some glitter all around the edges of your shamrock, or group of shamrocks, to add more excitement to the centerpiece.
