Star Wars Costume

The Star Wars Saga has spanned over 30 years and along with it the popularity of the movie series as a party and costume theme has remained just as strong. A Star Wars Jedi costume is an easy homemade project. Use cream Linen fabric for the majority of the costume which consists of a multi layered tunic. Pair this with brown pants stuffed into matching boots. A brown leather belt is essential as is a lightsaber. How else is the Jedi supposed to fight the dark forces? Speaking of which, a Darth Vader might be more your style. This is an all black outfit with a long black cape and gadgets stuck all along the belt and the chest. You can easily accessorize this costume with a Darth Vader helmet and a lightsaber found at the local toy store.

Our female Star Wars fans can always play the role of Padme Amidala. This is a very chic costume of crème with brown boots and a long crème cape. Tie a bolster around the waist and be sure to carry your blaster as a Queen needs to protect herself. A more unusual costume is that of Chewbaca. You will be totally unrecognizable in this costume of a brown furry jumpsuit and a mask and truly look like you are from a galaxy far far away!
