Credit Cards and Payment: 
We accept American Express, Master Card, Visa, and Discover Cards.
 
Be sure to provide your "exact" credit card number, expiration date, credit card ID #, and billing address that your credit card bank has on file. Incorrect information will cause a problem in credit validation, which may cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed when your order ships only for the items shipped and actual shipping costs.
 
Credit Cards:
Your credit card will initially be "authorized" for 10% above the exact amount of your product purchase to reserve for shipping & tax charges. Your card will only be charged the actual amount when your order ships. The credit will be put back on your card within 7 days depending on your bank.
 
Debit Cards:
Your debit card will initially authorize the actual total of your order, but when your order ships a second authorization occurs which includes product, freight and taxes, if any. Only the second authorization will be withdrawn from your bank account. However, your bank credit may be temporarily unavailable by the amount of the initial authorization. Your bank can advise when these funds become available to you.
 
Purchase Orders:
Schools, Libraries, Hospitals and Government Agencies may submit a valid Purchase Order. Purchase Order forms must be faxed to 516-861-1033 before we can process your Order. Imprint Items:
Many of the items in our line can be custom imprinted with your personal message, logo or firm saying. Some imprinted items require minimum quantities and additional plate charges which will be cited in the product description. Some imprinted items will be shipped from different locations and in separate packages requiring an additional shipping charge. Please call us with questions about imprinted items at 1-866-272-9897 and ask for Customer Service.
 
International Orders:
Orders outside of the 48 states (including Canada and all other countries.)
 
We require a $200 minimum order amount to ship Internationally (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam). 
We require a $50 minimum order amount to ship Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam.  They must be prepaid by credit card.    All prices shown on our site are in U.S. dollars. We do not ship backordered items unless the backorder shipment is more than the required minimum. Backorder shipments requires 2nd freight charge.
 
All international shipping costs are based on package size, weight & delivery destination.
Actual shipping costs are added to your invoice.
 
We only accept credit cards for purchase online.
We do not accept C.O.D. or checks for payment. Customers pay all international duty and taxes, if any. International shipments can be sent using domestic shipping options to a U.S. freight forwarder for export.

Item # or SKU Search:
You can go directly to any product on our site by simply entering Item # in the [ITEM # or SKU SEARCH] box, and clicking [Search]. All of our items can be seen in our online catalog under the Party Services tab.
 
Order Acceptance:
Our receipt of your electronic or other form of order, and your receipt of our electronic Order Confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order. In the event we do not have an item in stock, we will backorder the item so long as we can deliver it before your event date. We'll ship your order without the "out-of-stock" item, and we will try to contact you for a replacement.
 
Order Tracking:
We will mail you an Order Shipped notice and a tracking # so you can track your packages. You can Contact Us for via email for an update.
 
Privacy Policy:
Your personal information is private and secure. Our secure server protects all information shared between us by using advanced encryption from VeriSign and by using high level firewall technology.
 
We will not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. When you purchase items on our site, we request your name, e-mail address, credit card billing details, shipping addresses, and telephone number so that we can process your order.
 
You can check the shipping status of your order by logging in to a secure site to review your order history and carrier tracking information. We also provide you information via e-mail with messages for the services you request while on our site.
 
Return Policy:
You can return an item for any reason. We will be glad to replace the item, exchange it for new merchandise, or issue a full refund for merchandise only, (except for glow, wigs & worn costumes which are non-returnable). Products may be returned for replacement or refund as follows.
 
You must contact us within 14 days of the invoice date for you to obtain a Return Authorization ("RA") number. This RA number must be written on the back of your packing slip that you return to us with your merchandise. We need this RA number to identify the correct amount to be credited to your charge card, and to properly restock the item. An RA number is good for only one order return at a time.
If possible, please advise us what was wrong with the item for quality control.
 
You are responsible for shipping costs of all returns which were not a result of our missing a specified delivery date.
Returned items will only be accepted in original, unopened packaging. All returns should be sent via UPS, Federal Express, or any other courier that issues a tracking number. It is also a good idea for you to insure the package for its content value.
 
Sales Taxes:
We automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax only for orders delivered to addresses within the states of New York, New Jersey and Texas. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state, if applicable.
 
Tax-Exempt companies need to select TAX EXEMPT in the "County" field in the Billing / Shipping page. Then fax us their signed state Tax-Exempt form with their MakesParties Order # immediately after they place their order. Our fax # is (516) 861-1033. Shipping:
Domestic orders shipped within the 48 States: Shipping costs are calculated in our Shopping Cart after you enter your order. See our map for Standard Ground delivery time to your area. Orders received after 1:00 pm EST ship the next business day, so long as your credit card validates and your items are in stock. Begin counting shipping days from the day after your orders ships. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays DO NOT count as shipping days.
 
We use UPS ground and UPS or FedEx for express shipping in the United States. We need the actual address, (not P.O. Boxes) for USA delivery. Most orders are shipped from New York State, USA, except for special orders or some custom items.
 
When your orders ships we will send you and email with total costs, tracking information, and tax if any. (We charge local taxes only for orders "shipped to addresses" in New York, New Jersey and Texas).

Orders shipped outside of the 48 states:

Following submission of each order, an email confirmation of the order is sent. Orders received by 1:00 pm (est) usually process the same business day. Orders are usually shipped within 1 business day after it is received, if the credit card provided validates and the merchandise is in stock. Personalized Banners ship within 48 hours and special custom orders will ship separately.
 
Shipping days begin a "day after" the order has been shipped. Weekends and Holidays ARE NOT considered shipping days.
 
Shopping Cart:
Items ordered appear in the Shopping Cart. The item # or SKU is linked to the Order Page. Quantities can be changed using the [Update Quantities] button or removed using the [Trash} icon. To complete your order, click the [Checkout] button. Your order is not sent until you click the [Submit] button on the Order Review page.
 
The right section in Shopping Cart allows you to order by entering Item #'s and Qty's. In this way, you can create your own invoice and receive an e-mail Order Confirmation and Shipping Confirmation.
 
Site Security:
This is a Secured Site that provides security encryption using a Certified Digital Signature from VeriSign, Inc and by using high level firewall technology. If you use a credit card to order online, your credit information will be encrypted, confidential and security protected.
