Handmade Superbowl Party Favors

Creating homemade party favors for a Super Bowl Party will quickly become the highlight of the party. Super Bowl parties are considered one of the biggest parties of the year and some spend all year planning. One of the biggest highlights of the party would be when the ref calls a bad play. Well, why not create a penalty flag that the guests will be able to throw at the TV every time a bad call is made.

To begin creating these great penalty flags head to a local craft store and purchase several yards of yellow fabric, sand, and rubber bands. Once the fabric is purchased cut it into pieces that are approximately one square foot in size.

The second step of these great handmade party supplies is once the squares are finished take a scoop of the sand and place it in the middle of the fabric. Next take the fabric and gather it around the sand to resemble a golf ball. Then take the ribbon and secure the fabric shut at the top to prevent any sand from leaking.

To add a whimsical touch to these homemade party favors, add pictures of the ref or even the name of the football teams that are playing. The guests can choose which team they will be rooting for. Once finished simply place these on the table and let your guests pick them up as they enter. Most of the die-hard football fans will already know what these penalty flags are for however, for those that are not you may need to explain what they are for.
