Homemade Surprise Party Game

Nothing is more light or festive than a Surprise birthday party; especially if it comes complete with some homemade games.

Handmade games for a Surprise birthday party could take place before the festivity even begins. In the game Surprise Surprise, guests could be challenged to come up with excuses intended to lure the guest of honor to the party, without at any point revealing the true purpose of the celebratory gathering. Possible excuses could include a family meeting, a corporate gathering (for an office party), or a casual, friendly get together to watch a ball game, play cards or work on a household project, etc. The person who comes up with the Most Usable Excuse wins, as his/her idea will be the one used to lure the guest of honor to the party. He/she could win a prize that is itself a surprise; perhaps a grab bag of novelties, knick knacks and candies. Additional prizes could be awarded for Funniest Excuse, Most Creative Excuse, Most Unlikely Excuse, etc.

Handmade games that could be enjoyed at a Surprise birthday party could include The Surprise Cavalcade; a spirited contest that could challenge guests to share three surprising things about themselves; one of which could be false, the other two could be true. Each person who guesses the ‘correct incorrect’ fact about the guest of honor would win a prize.
