A Survivor theme party with music, party supplies, and interesting decorations is a cool idea for a theme party because of the endless potential the party has. Celebrating a special event with outstanding performances that include singing, dancing and acting is a great way to keep the guests involved in the celebration. These fun activities are perfect for guests of all ages and will add a great deal to the celebration. More often than not, these performances will be the perfect addition to a fun filled and exciting event. Even a party with a Survivor theme needs some type of music to play in the background. Survivor is all about challenging nature and seeing how far someone can push themselves in difficult, strenuous times. With that being said, creating a Survivor atmosphere should include sounds of nature and local music from Survivor locations. Survivor has been all across the globe so select music and sounds of nature native to these lands. For example, Survivor: The Amazon take place in the Amazon so use sounds of the location such as Amazon Rainforest by Best of Mother Nature (TM). Survivor: Africa was set in Kenya's Shaba National Reserve so use music from African Sunrise, African Voices: Songs of Life, and Ambient Africa by Living Souls. Survivor: Cook Islands took place on the Cook Islands in the South Pacific Ocean therefore albums like South Pacific Islands by Putumayo Presents, Magic of the South Seas: Tahiti Marquesas, and South Pacific Drums are appropriate choices. Survivor: Thailand can include albums such as Rough Guide to the Music of Thailand, Silk, Spirits and Song: Music from North Thailand, and Music from Thailand. Select a cake that can be part of the theme decoration initially, until itís time to serve the cake to the guests. At a gathering where there will be small children, consider hiring a babysitter to keep them occupied in another part of the house. Inspire everyone to be creative by setting up arts and crafts workstations with amazing activities from coloring and drawing to finger painting to be taken home.

Survivor homemade party supplies will give the party a realistic feel (or close to it). Numerous homemade party supplies fit the survivor theme such as faux palm trees, tiki torches, tiki masks, and animal prints. Create the Survivor logo on a sheet of paper and place it over the party table (which can be made to look like a river by using blue cellophane). The more a jungle or outback theme can be created the Survivor party the better. Use fake or create flowers, tree and bark from tissue paper and cardboard and apply them to the wall For those who plan to have the Survivor party outside, then there is no need for homemade party supplies for the wall and ceiling. Survivor is all about survival. When people are trying to survivor they are not so worried about how they look. Request guests dress in ragged clothes wit holes and fake dirt.

Handmade Survivor party supplies will be a welcome site to party guests and show how much Survivor is appreciated in the household. Use basic materials and create unique Survivor party supplies. Plan the Survivor themed party well ahead the schedule date. Most people will find that celebrating a special event with amazing event trimmings, designs and materials is always a great way to add fun to a festive celebration. Enjoyable designs that are perfect for guests of all ages will enhance the event and make the guests feel very special. More often than not, these colorful embellishments will add a lot of attention to the celebration.

The Survivor series usually takes place in tropical settings, so a cake with this theme should be easy to accomplish. This adventurous celebration is the ideal time for a variety of creative desserts and other tasty treats designed especially for this event. These items are always a great addition to a celebration and most often the addition of enjoyable fares that are designed especially for this gathering will make everyone feel very special.Any basic cake can be used, but a sheet cake is flat with lots of room to create. A sheet cake or half sheet cake will be perfect, depending on the number of guests that will be attending the party.

The first need will be tropical trees, lots of different types of palms, and be sure to keep the landscape lush with at least two different colors of cake decorating frosting. Edible flowers, such as dandelions, pansies, Johnny-jumpups, and other colorful, real flowers, can be strategically added to the top of the cake.

A volcano-type cake can be constructed in the middle of the cake, and if dry ice is placed in a small plastic cup in the hole of the volcano, a trickle of hot water at serving time will wow the guests, as it bubbles and smokes.

Brown frosting may be used to cover the volcano, as well as to add several pathways through this jungle setting. And blue frosting can serve as watering holes. Place nuts around the water and through parts of the jungle setting to serve as rocks. This will surely be a creative cake to surprise the guests at this Survivor party.

A survivor themed party may sound like a contest of endurance, to see who can hold out the longest in the face of infinite refills of alcohol. Most hosts will find that from making a guest list to preparing the food, having a plan will make the celebration go off without a hitch. Simple hostess tip: Prepare for the entire celebration in advance and avoid adding any extra commitments or stress on the hostess during the preparation period. This simple tip will ensure that the hostess has a stress free and very entertaining time during the actual celebration. Then again it could be a party styled after a certain really popular TV series with a huge cash prize. Getting to see stranded people starving on an island in the middle of nowhere is only the setting; the main point of interest is usually how they interact with each other. Sometime the most useful person gets back stabbed by the group in a sort of reverse survival of the fittest, all in the name of winning. Though it certainly is true that one of the main attractions is each person struggling to triumph over nature and a variety of tough penalty games designed by the hosts.

Well whether you chose to see it as a drama or a challenge against nature, you still need to decorate for your Survivor themed party. You could set up a wall scroll of a jungle or add other various island themed posters and whatnot to decorate your walls. A beach party is just perfect for this event. As well adding props such as Tiki torches, fake trees, ferns and all will add to the overall effect. Having various pictures of jungle animal and fish, or aquariums are also good bets. Throw up a few streamers that look like vines, and banners for survivor as a final touch if youíd like.

If you can get hold of the taped Survivor episodes it would make for a great tribute to have a marathon session playing on TV. You could even play some tropical ambiance music in the background if you have the tapes. If you have a yard you can hold our own versions of Survivor challenges such as making a fire without matches, but make sure to have a first aid kit on hand. If you donít, then you could set up a bunch of flash cards with info taken from survivalist sites or episodes of Survivor and hold a trivia game.

If you plan to serve food which you should then make sure to have plenty of disposable dishes and utensils, many of which can even be found with Survivor themed party stuff printed on them.

Survivor has made a place in history as being the leading edge in reality tv for its time. The original concept is directly credited to Charlie Parsons who is the co owner of Castaway TV Productions. The show takes a panel of contestants and strands them in a variety of different elements. Rain forest, desert islands and many other forms of terra firma have dominated this series and the participating contestants.

Most people are amazed at the history behind many of the shows from the present and past. Like others before them the times of past and the recordings are often as interesting now as they were many years ago. For this reason, fans of the show have held strong and their popularity has continued to grow. The history behind Survivor was created when reality show television began to gain popularity due to shows like Who Wants to be a Millionaire? During this show contestants are taken to a variety of stranded wildernesses and set up with task and games to compete for cash and prizes. These prizes can be minimal to the outside world, but such things as cold water or a quick party visit to a bar can be just what contestants need to refresh themselves for the difficult task of basic survival.

The facts of the show include several people who have had to leave the show early due to succumbing to the basic elements. The show also features a series of progressive eliminations that can sometimes turn cast members against one another. The added intrigue and drama has only served to create yet a wider and more interested audience. When other members attended their tribal meetings things had a tendency to get confrontational and erratic. The show gained such popularity that subsequent seasons were planned for years to come.
