Many people really get into the Survivor TV series, as if it was a series of movies. Reality shows of all types are getting very popular these days.

It would be difficult to have any type of real Survivor game, while your guests are waiting to watch one or more of the series in its completion on DVD, because most of the stunts are dangerous. But you might want to try a hiking adventure during the afternoon, in anticipation of showtime.

You can make it interesting by supplying each of your guests with a sort of picnic basket to take with them on the trail. It can be a part of your party supplies list. Survivor stickers or other logos from the TV show can be placed on the picnic bags or baskets, and they are not allowed to open them until you are already on the trail. They might include water, trail mix and other snacks, a disposable camera, and a map. At some point, the party gang can separate into teams of two and wander off. Have them return with a certain object at a certain time. They should not get lost, because they will have a map to refer to.

Your guests might have had the opportunity to RSVP your invitations, including the Survivor series that they preferred to watch. Maybe they each have a favorite. It would be like voting for which series to watch that night. When you have determined what series the majority of your guests would like to watch that evening, surprise them with it. It may just be the one that they all want to watch. When in doubt, give them a second choice. If more of the guests have the same second choice, then that should be the one to watch.
