Homemade Tampa Bay Buccaneers Party Game

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a hard-playing team from the party city of Tampa; and while watching a Bucs game, their festive fans will probably want to play some homemade games of their own.

In the handmade game “Pass the Buc,” partygoers at a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game party could stand in a circle and pass around a makeshift rubber or beanbag ball emblazoned with the team’s signature skull and crossed swords insignia. As each person receives the ball, they could name their favorite Bucs player or game; or perhaps do an impression of the ‘Chuckie face’, the infamous expression that the Bucs’ Super Bowl coach Jon Gruden wore whenever he was angry.

For more adventurous souls at a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fest, the homemade game “Buccaneers’ Booty” could revolve around a hand drawn pirate’s treasure map of the host’s home. She could prepare one or more booty bags filled with chocolates, plastic coins, coupons, gumballs, etc., then hide them at various points throughout the house. Once the party starts, she could hand each guest a colorful map of her home or designated party area—one marked with written clues as to where the booty bags are—and encourage them to find the ‘pirate’s treasure.’ This fun and challenging game could be played either before or after the televised Buccaneers game around which the party revolves, or perhaps during half time or commercial intervals.
