What little girl doesn’t dream of having their own little tea party at one point or another? There are still adult women out there that enjoy having a tea party. So what little girl would turn their nose up at having a sleep over or other social get together that could start out as their very own tea party. History shows us that tea parties were an everyday occurrence in the early 1900s. Something that the women often look to as their one outing for the day. The young women will love the opportunity to get up, get all dressed up to attend a tea party, whether this is for a birthday party or just an afternoon lunch away from home. When you send out the invitations you may also include that they accompany their moms and that there will be two events in the home, one for the young women and a tea group meeting for the moms as well.
Tea parties can go from calm afternoon tea with sandwiches to dinner tea with other after dinner events and could transition into a family game night or girls slumber party filled with pretty nails, makeup and fun hairdos. Regardless of what your little lady is into, having a tea party is a great way celebrate a mile stone birthday, celebrating some other event or just a reason to get the girls together (yes the moms included) for an afternoon or evening of good times and friendly gossip among the ladies.
