Unique Texas Holdem Invitations
Give your guests a unique invite that also gives them a little taste of the fun they will have at a Texas Holdem party. Start with a few decks of playing cards and cut a large square out of green poster board. The square should be large enough to lay seven cards on. Using a utility or craft knife cut pairs of slits long enough to slide a card through and about a fourth an inch wide. You should end up with seven one fourth inch wide bands cut in the poster board, that you can slide a card into and see the top and bottom of the card on the front side of the poster board. Now deal two cards and slide one each face down, into two of the poster board bands that are side by side. Next deal five cards face up and slide them into the remaining five poster board bands. The card should fit snug so they don’t fall out. Beside the cards or at the top or bottom write, using a black marker, terms like; check, bet, raise or fold. Cut some quarter or poker chip size round shapes out of various color poster board and write dollar amounts on them like $5,000. Your guests now have a Texas Holdem hand that is a unique invitation. Write the party info on the back.

What To Say in the Texas Holdem Invitations
Tell your guests the party basics like time, place, and date. Put a RSVP and “reply by date”, on the invites. This helps you and the guests stay on track. Put your contact info, which may include phone number and email. If there will be actual Texas Holdem games tell your guests what the stakes will be.

When To Mail the Invitations
