Handmade Texas Holdem Pinatas

Texas Holdem party with friends and family is a great way to celebrate a birthday. Include various party supplies, decorations, and party favors for all attendees. Keep children entertained with a handmade Texas Holdem theme piñata. Texas Holdem piñata can be made to look like a large poker chip – need poker chips to play Texas Holdem. To make a poker chip piñata, use one long balloon and tape the ends together. Cut out two large cardboard circles and tape them to both sides of the balloon. Once taped, apply 3 layer of paper mache – after each layer let the paper mache dry over night. After the second layer is applied to the balloons and cut a small hole at the bottom of the poker chip to insert the candy and any other goodies that can fit inside. Tape and paper mache the hole closed. To hang to poker chip piñata, poke small holes in the top of the piñata and insert a cord or small rope to hang.

Once the final paper mache layer is applied and dried, use tissue paper for decoration. Poker chips come in virtually every color. Use a poker chip style from a local casino or choose one that is the most attractive. Painting the poker chip piñata is also an option. Painting will apply for more details to be applied to the piñata but traditional piñatas are covered in tissue paper. Hang in the desired area and allow children to earn the goodies inside.
