Homemade Texas Holdem Party Game

Children may not be interested in playing Texas Holdem at a casino theme party but that does not mean other fun homemade games are not available. There should be plenty of decks of cards at the Texas Holdem party so pass out a few decks and let the children try their best to build of house of cards. The child who builds the best house of cards, with it not falling down, is declared the winner. Offer party favors to all children who attend the party as well.

Since this is a Texas Holdem party why not involved the children in some wild west cowboy fun and games. Those who have a wooden horse, or any solid object, can use a lasso and have children practice their lassoing skills. Using water pistols, have the children attempt to shoot down empty pop cans or tin cans sitting on a fence of other surface. Use lighter objects such as pop cans so they fall over easier when hit. The player who can knock down the pop cans in the fastest time wins. Penny toss is a super easy game because it only requires a cowboy boot and some pennies. The child who can throw the most pennies in the boot is the winner. The Cattle Drive Game is super fun to play as well. Use black, white, and brown balloons to represent the cattle. Place as many balloons as possible in a room. On the hosts mark, the child run to the balloons and see how many balloons they can hold. The child who can hold the most balloons, any way they can by means of putting the balloons in their shirt of pants, is the winner. When the host says stop the children cannot pick up anymore balloons and must hold the balloons they have to be counted.
